I met up with the Hodgkiss family for their lifestyle family photography session in Newcastle, Ontario. We went for a walk through some trails, stopped to skip rocks in the water and had some laughs along the way. This family looked absolutely adorable! I love when I show up to a session and the family is in perfectly coordinated outfits (it makes my job a lot easier)! In saying that, everyone doesn’t have to be completely matching, but I always recommend neutral colours, no neons, no shirts with huge graphics or logos, and anything with texture always photographs nicely (think sweaters, knits, denim, etc).
