Emma + Chris | Maternity Session | Peterborough, Ontario

 

Emma and Chris met in the summer of 2011 in Kingston, Ontario. After Emma finished up University in London in 2012 she moved to Peterborough, Ontario where her and Chris bought their first home together. They also decided to get a very big “fur baby” named Reese, who’s a Saint Bernard. Reese’s hobbies include sleeping… and napping… and sleeping…. and snuggling with mommy! Both Emma and Chris are self employed, a massage therapist and a tournament fisherman. They love to spend time outdoors, especially on a bass boat! They found out they were expecting in the fall of 2016 and the due date ended up being very close to both of their birthdays. Emma’s birthday is July 16th and Chris’ is the 13th and the due date is right smack in the middle on July 11th! That’s going to be one heck of a birthday party, celebrating all three at once! They decided not to find out the gender of the baby and are waiting for the big SURPRISE. However, Emma thinks the baby will be a girl… and Chris thinks a boy. They have a bet going that whoever is wrong changes the first 5 diapers, haha! I’m with Emma and I’m going to say GIRL…. so Chris looks like you might have to start practicing your diaper changing duties!

I had soooo much fun doing this maternity session with Emma + Chris. They are such a cute couple, and their dog Reese… ahhhhh I just want to scoop her up and take her home! But I think I would have issues with the ‘scooping’ part since she is the size of a human! I’m not going to lie I was getting a little jealous when Reese was snuggling with Emma and the soon to be brother or sister (of Reese)! I wanted to take a time out and get right in there! If you haven’t guessed it by now… I love dogs, especially big dogs. But I currently don’t have a dog… haha go figure (I’m focusing on the tiny humans for now)!
